About us
We are a social and activities group with a reputation for friendliness. Having a sense of fun and wanting to make friends is what the club is all about. We have a good mixture of long term and new members, which creates a vibrant atmosphere, meaning that you can quickly get to know most other people and feel part of the group.
Every month you can choose to attend any one of the variety of activities which we offer. Some are regular events such as pub/club nights, the monthly pub quiz might and the monthly curry club (we run the Nottingham Curry Club on Meetup website) and the monthly ‘ Round the world cuisine night’. Other activities may include theatre and cinema visits, walks, parties, BBQs, bowling, dancing, festivals, lectures and weekends away. Because our activities are organised by our members, we do whatever our members want and we are always open to new suggestions for activities.
How Nottingham IVC is different to other social clubs
Nottingham IVC is not just another social club. In this day of social media, where clubs come and go, we are well established.
Nottingham IVC has been in existence for more than 60 years, and membership is comprised of people from all ages and all backgrounds. The majority of our members live in the Greater Nottingham area.
